Refunds & Returns

Refund Policy for Cape Town Wine Hub (Pty) Ltd

  1. Returns/Refunds:

We try package all goods as well as possible. However, if you received damaged stock, you have 4 days to inform us.

We will accept unopened goods that you would like to return subject to receiving a notification by email within 4 (four) days of the goods having been delivered to the address provided by you for delivery. Contact us by email at shop@capetownwinehub.com, specifying the item/s you would like to return and the reason for the return. We will arrange to have the item/s collected.

Please ensure that you receive confirmation that we received your communication regarding returns within 1 working day once communicated to ensure that the 4 days return policy is not exceeded.

Please note:

  • ​Refunds will be made using the same payment method used to pay for the goods at the time of ordering.
  • All items must be in the original packaging and in the same condition as received.
  • Items ordered in sets, cases or boxes need to be returned unopened and in the same condition in which they were delivered.
  • No opened products may be returned.

2. Order Cancellation / Refund:

Cape Town Wine Hub (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient, or the quality of goods does not meet Cape Town Wine Hub standards. Should Cape Town Wine Hub exercise this right, the customer will receive a full refund.

​Orders are accepted via online placement at capetownwinehub.shop. Payments can be made via direct EFT, Yoco or credit card at the time of placing the online order.

​You may also pay via EFT by selecting Offline Payment as the payment option, and then forwarding the proof of payment to shop@capetownwinehub.com. Delivery will not take place until proof of payment has been received and the funds have cleared our business account.

Should you wish to cancel an order after it has been placed and you have paid by Credit Card. A 10% service fee will be charged and deducted from the refund.

A credit will be given on our on-line shop against your account.

Delivery

Delivery Policy for all orders within South Africa:

All orders are delivered by our preferred courier company. All orders are dispatched Monday – Friday between 08h00 to 15h00. Orders placed over the weekends and public holidays will be dispatched the following business day.

Orders are delivered within 3-7 working days.

Orders placed and for delivery to areas outside of all major metropolitan regions in South Africa may experience longer shipment times and will attract an additional fee. These are special cases and the customer will be notified of this possible delay.

Delivery will take place during business hours only (08:00am and 17:00pm) and to a physical address within the borders of South Africa.

Delivery options will be determined based on your delivery address and postal code during the online checkout process.

All orders will only be delivered once funds have been cleared in our account.

We reserve the right to withhold or cancel any orders if we or the bank suspects it is fraudulent orders

Age Restriction

NO SALES TO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18

Alcohol is not for sale to persons under the age of 18. For this reason, positive identification may be requested and we may refuse an order at our discretion. By ordering and purchasing products that contain alcohol, you acknowledge that you are of legal drinking age.
